POLOKOFF NAMED TCA VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING AND SALES
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- March 22, 2001 -- Harvey Polokoff, a former vice president of Group I Divisions of the Deflect-o Corporation, has been named vice president of Marketing and Sales forTransContinental Avionics Corporation, it was announced today by J. Phil McCoy, president of TCA.
Mr. Polokoff is also a high-time instrument instructor rated commercial pilot.
"Interest among prospective dealers in the TCA concept has been incredibly high," Mr. McCoy said. Harvey's job is to recruit and service a nationwide dealer network."
In a related move, Mr. McCoy said Aryl Polokoff, Harvey's wife, will serve as Benefits Coordinator for TCA. Mrs. Polokoff has extensive experience in the benefits area, most recently serving as vice president of Strategic Services for Key Benefit Administrators.
TCA is forming a national chain of independently-owned and operated avionics shops which will operate under a common, nationally recognized service mark "TCA" to offer aircraft owners a coast-to-coast network of qualified repair and installation facilities.
TCA offers participating avionics shops the benefits of association with a nationally advertised chain of shops whose combined purchasing power and inter-communications will provide each shop with greater ability to serve the needs of the flying public.
Mr. McCoy announced the formation of TCA shortly before the start of the year and almost immediately was able to announce new dealer affiliations.
