TCA Leadership

J. Phil McCoy, president and CEO of TCA, is known and respected throughout the general aviation industry as a product innovator and for his creative marketing concepts.

In 1986, he founded McCoy Avionics Corp. to design, manufacture and market the MAC 1700 digital modification of the King KX 170 VHF Nav/Comm Transceiver. He retired from active day-to-day management of McCoy Avionics in 1997 to concentrate his efforts on the development of TCA.

McCoy, a graduate of Indiana University, is an instrument-rated private pilot.

Dennis P. Stoll, vice president, technical operations for TCA, has over 37 years experience in the electronics and avionics industry and in computer-based management information systems.

In 1970, Stoll created a detailed business plan encompassing avionics sales, system design, and repair down to the component level. From this plan he developed HAL (Higginsville Avionics Lab) which currently does business as East Kansas City Avionics in Grain Valley, Missouri, which is a member of TCA.

Stoll is a FAA licensed repairman and licensed multiengine pilot.
